The role holder has responsibility to manage, maintain, troubleshoot and repair facilities mechanical components and electrical equipment and systems in accordance with SOPs (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer's specifications and safety policies. Develops, maintains and secures a spare parts inventory of basic maintenance hand and power tools. Recommends purchase of maintenance tools, equipment and supplies as required to streamline processes and increase efficiency. Responsible to develop methods and procedures to control or improve facilities processes.
Key Accountabilities Responsible for leading and/or managing a team of people OR a virtual team of specialists.Develops plans to support the strategy and vision of Facilities EngineeringManagement and sourcing of contracted Mechanical & Electrical suppliersManagement and sourcing of utility suppliers (Gas/Electric/Water)Ownership and management of regulatory requirements as per industry standards definition (e.g. periodical electrical inspection and test)Liaison with the business stakeholders to reduce impact of any scheduled downtimeProvide Mechanical & Electrical technical supportConsultancy to Bid Teams for any potential new deals regarding building operations.Ensuring most cost effective energy consumption utilizing building controlsMembership of defined industry association to gain best practice knowledge for deploymentInvestigations relating to energy saving opportunities and evaluate Return on Investment (ROI)Liaison with Fujitsu Insurance Company (s) to reduce and mitigate riskProvide a center of knowledge for building services related equipmentManagement and operation of Office Spaces according to operational standardsConsultancy in the design and build of Office Spaces to ensure the build meets accredited standardsHas industry knowledge and awareness and may have specialized technical knowledge or awarenessConcerned with ensuring plans are in place to deliver service and meet business objectives.Key performance indicators Customer satisfaction and feedbackAppropriate service provided to customers.Achievement of Operational targetsContribution and lead on Service Improvement initiatives within Operational areaFull compliance to company policy, best practice definitions and Fujitsu standardsActively owns risks, controls costs and improves productivity of the service area in order to support increasing profitability for Fujitsu and continually improve cost effectivenessOn-site: Lisbon or Braga At Fujitsu, you will enjoy: Employment with the possibility of a permanent contractLife insurance and private health insurance extensive to children for free and since first day of employmentWork life balance with part-time/full-time schedules available and 25 annual leave daysInternational career in a dynamic and enthusiastic environmentTraining and internal career progression plan upon hiringSeveral discounts available with our partnersTraining and international career progression plan upon hiringDynamic and enthusiastic work environment with colleagues from more than 60 countriesThe chance to get involved in our Social Responsibility program and participate in several initiatives with focus on wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, environment and our community (medical services, Yoga lessons, fresh fruit, volunteering afternoons)Great Facilities at Central locations well served by public transportation, bicycle access and servicesIf you are moving to Portugal, we also offer the support of our Welcome Buddy to help you settle in.Remote Working AvailableAn IKEA voucher to help you build your own home office…and much more#J-18808-Ljbffr
