Inclusion | Human Rights | Sport for All Integrated Dreams is seeking to appoint a part-time Communications Officer to support the team. Type: term employment (1 year) / contract (1 year, 48 weeks)
Hours: part time (16h per week)
Based: remote. The successful applicant must have the right to work in the EU, preferably based in Portugal or Spain
Salary: €11.000 per annum / €15,00 per hour

Integrated Dreams mission is to increase the representation of the disabled population in the sport industry through training, empowerment, creating networking opportunities, as well as promoting awareness. This is an exciting opportunity to support the project team and to gain experience in sport, the not-for-profit and inclusion industries on a global level. The Integrated Dreams' team is particularly looking for someone who is passionate about improved access and inclusion for all, with experience in the media or communications environment.
The successful candidate's role reports to the Integrated Dreams Director of Operations and works closely with the rest of the team.

The Integrated Dreams team works remotely from home. Depending on the location of the successful applicant, training may be offered in person. The Communications Officer may also be asked to attend meetings or events abroad. If travel is required, reasonable expenses will be covered by Integrated Dreams.

Job Description Key responsibilities ·Writing, editing and publishing news articles, interviews and newsletters
·Monitoring and updating Integrated Dreams' social media channels and website
·Data inputting and upkeep in internal Customer Relationship Management system
·Editing and formatting reports and guidance notes
·Working with external partners to publish mutual news stories, and promoting the works of both Integrated Dreams and our partners
·Liaising with the rest of the Integrated Dreams team to source news articles, interviews and case studies
·Researching topics related to access and inclusion
·Working closely with the Director of Operations to support and plan Integrated Dreams´ communications
·Supporting the rest of the Integrated Dreams team with occasional administration tasks
Key knowledge, skills, experience, competencies and qualifications ·Fluent in English
·Experience in managing and updating social media accounts (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn)
·Ability to write engaging stories, articles, interviews and newsletters
·An understanding of digital accessibility and / or alternative formats
·Ability to write for a range of different audiences
·Ability to think of new ideas
·Ability to work under own initiative and meet objectives
·Self-motivated and passionate about access and inclusion
·Ability to report on progress and work together to achieve goals
·Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt at short notice
·Flexibility in working arrangements and willingness to travel away from home and work (occasionally) evenings and weekends
·Ability to communicate in other languages
·A good understanding of the social model of disability
·Previous experience in a media or communications environment
·Previous experience of working in sport or disability
·Confidence in interviewing external stakeholders
