We are seeking an experienced and resourceful Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our versatile HR team. This role is about driving and executing global talent acquisition excellence at Nexar, which will be your #1 mission.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to excel at fast and efficient full-cycle recruitment, as well as process optimization, ATS management, analytics, and employer branding. Outstanding onboarding experience will also be under your wing.
We are looking for someone based in Porto, who can meet diverse hiring needs, including full-time employees, contractors, and freelancers, in different locations, adapting recruitment strategies to suit the specific talent requirements of each role.
Additionally, this role will require versatility to contribute to HR initiatives as needed when recruitment demand is lower, in the scope of people ops, well-being, and talent management. If you are an experienced recruiter looking to expand your HR expertise, this is a great opportunity.
Responsibilities Full-cycle recruitment : manage and execute the full hiring process, from opening to end of onboarding Streamline processes : continuously optimize for efficiency in hiring and short time-to-value Applicant Tracking System (ATS) : manage and maintain the ATS (Comeet) to ensure a seamless experience and accurate reporting Data analytics : utilize data for insights, trends, and data-based decision-making Candidate assessment : skillfully assess candidates for cultural fit, skills, and qualifications Communication : maintain effective communication with hiring managers and candidates alike Enhance Nexar's employer brand : by promoting our company's culture, values, and unique offerings to attract top talent Process compliance : ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, namely ISO 27001 Exceptional onboarding : develop and execute a welcoming and informative onboarding process that sets employees up for success from day one People ops, well-being, and talent management : support or lead ongoing and new projects as needed Requirements Excellent people reader A talent for easily building healthy working relations Dynamic, getting-things-done attitude Notable organization skills and process-oriented profile High sense of responsibility and professional demeanor Assertiveness and good decision-making abilities Technical skills & qualifications 3+ years of experience, with a track record of successfully hiring top talent in the tech industry (mandatory) Solid knowledge of talent acquisition trends and proven best practices Strong understanding of recruitment flows, ATS management, and data analytics Proficiency in English, both written and spoken Familiarity with employment laws and regulations in Portugal (any other geo is a great plus) Degree in a relevant field, such as Psychology, Human Resources, or similar/related What we offer To be an ambassador of Nexar's great culture of ownership, generosity, and independence The chance to have a meaningful and positive impact on roads and cities' safety Flexibility - in schedule, work location, benefits Competitive compensation A fast-paced work environment full of kind, smart, and highly driven people Great professional and personal growth opportunities Regular team-building events and well-being initiatives/facilities Who we are Our mission is to create the technology that will make driving and cities better and safer.
