Company DescriptionAt Devoteam, we believe that technology with strong human values can actively drive change for the better.Discover how Tech for People unlocks the future, creating a positive impact on the people and the world around us.We are a global leading player in Digital Transformation for leading organisations across EMEA, with a revenue of €1B.We believe in transforming technology to create value for our clients, partners and employees in a world where technology is developed for people.We are proud of the culture we have built together.We are proud of our people at the service of technology.We are proud of our diverse environment.Because we are #TechforPeople.Join our multidisciplinary team of Cloud experts, Designers, Business consultants, Security experts, Engineers, Developers and other extraordinary talents, spread across more than 20 EMEA countries.Become one of our tech and business leaders on cloud, data and cyber security.Let's fuse creativity with technology together and build innovative solutions that actively change things for the better.Job DescriptionBuild the connection between Finance and Technology, the FinOps Engineer should be able to explain cloud technology to finance and management personas, and finance to engineers;Promote FinOps culture across the company;Enable cost visibility: tagging and reporting;Identify, recommend, and follow up on cost optimization opportunities; Analyze, optimize, and implement cost optimization actions over different cloud services;Build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.Interact with engineers, executives, productions managers, and finances teams;Take ownership of FinOps cost tools and develop capacity reservation policiesSupport budget processes;Work on technical solutions to support FinOps;Advise on cost-effective architectures.QualificationsAlready a FinOps practitioner, a Finance person with a tech interest, or a Cloud/DevOps Engineer wanting to take the next step;You have a solid understanding of cloud services (network, storage, compute, …) and software development concepts;Possess 3+ years of experience in Cloud Cost Management, FinOps;Multi-year experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP (at least 2);Knowledge of the FinOps Framework from FinOps Foundation ();Willing to be FinOps certified;Passionate and comfortable handling FinOps discussions at the technical, business, or financial level;Possess Foundational Cloud services knowledge;Strong interpersonal skills /collaboration skills – to ensure progress is made;Good written documentation and communication skills;Good level of English.Nice to have:Previous experience with FinOps;FinOps Practitioner certification;Certification on one or more cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure); such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, GCP Foundational;Experience in an Agile environment;Experience with chargeback modeling, cost savings and avoidance tracking, and forecasting;Two or more (2+) years of experience with cost optimization;Additional InformationThe Devoteam Group works for equal opportunities, promoting its employees based on merit and actively fights against all forms of discrimination.We are convinced that diversity contributes to the creativity, dynamism and excellence of our organization.All of our vacancies are open to people with disabilities.
