About the Role

As a Cloud FinOps Strategist, you'll be responsible for building connections between finance and technology teams. You'll need to explain complex cloud concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa. Your goal will be to promote a FinOps culture across the company, ensuring everyone understands the importance of cost visibility and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enable cost visibility through tagging and reporting;
  • Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities;
  • Analyze and implement cost optimization actions across different cloud services;
  • Develop relationships with customers and stakeholders, including engineers, executives, and financial teams;
  • Take ownership of FinOps cost tools and develop capacity reservation policies;
  • Support budget processes and work on technical solutions to support FinOps.

Your Background

To succeed in this role, you'll need a solid understanding of cloud services and software development concepts. Experience in cloud cost management, FinOps, and working with Azure, AWS, or GCP is essential. Knowledge of the FinOps Framework and willingness to become certified are also desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial, as you'll be interacting with various teams and stakeholders. A good level of English is required.
