Based in Oeiras, Portugal, you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour.

The **NCI Academy **has been created by the NCI Agency to deliver high quality, certifiable and modern vocational training on systems and services utilised within NATO. The NCI Academy is led from its flagship training delivery location in Oeiras (Portugal) and supported by staff and capabilities in The Hague (The Netherlands), Brussels and Mons (Belgium).

This position sits under the The **C2 and Functional Systems Training Branch (C2 FSB), **which is accountable to the Dean for the management and execution of the C2 & FS training scheduled in coordination with the customers and the Academy partners such as NCIA Service Lines and respective Training Department Heads.

**About you**

We’re looking for a talented and knowledgeable **Instructor **with experience in the **C2 and Functional Systems Training **field, with ideally a h igher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience or a secondary educational qualification with 5 years post-related experience.
- Experience in delivering training to adult learners and a proven ability to convey;
- E xperience and advanced knowledge in System Administration, preferably Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows and Server).
- General up-to-date knowledge of computer system architectures, client/server, LAN/WAN and networking concepts, naming services, database management, scripting techniques;
- Experience and knowledge of latest Virtualisation Technologies (VMware).
- Working experience in Database administration (SQL or PostgreSQL or Oracle database systems).
