**Position: Sous Chef - Cosmo Restaurant**

**The Role**

As a Sous Chef at Cosmo, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head Chef in delivering a memorable dining experience inspired by Cosmo’s focus on fresh, seasonal, and ethically sourced ingredients. You will ensure the seamless operation of the kitchen, maintain the highest standards of food preparation, and foster a collaborative work environment that celebrates creativity and excellence.

**Your Key Responsibilities**

**Food Preparation and Presentation**:

- Oversee the preparation and presentation of dishes, ensuring they meet Cosmo's high standards.
- Collaborate on menu development and maintain consistency in all dishes.

**Stock and Supplies Management**:

- Monitor inventory levels, manage ingredient stock, and ensure timely ordering of supplies.
- Minimize waste and adhere to cost controls while maintaining quality.

**Hygiene and Maintenance**:

- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of all workstations and equipment.
- Enforce food safety and hygiene protocols across the kitchen.

**Support and Teamwork**:

- Assist the Head Chef in day-to-day operations, including staff management and service organization.
- Motivate and guide the team to foster a positive and productive environment.

**What We Expect From You**
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
- **Bilingual Fluency**: Proficiency in both Portuguese and English to effectively communicate with the team and suppliers.
- **Team Collaboration**: Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
- **Creativity and Passion**: A desire to innovate, learn, and grow within a dynamic culinary environment.
- **Organizational Skills**: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work efficiently under pressure.
