Senior Data Analyst

As part of the BI and Data Analytics team, you’ll help turn raw data into knowledge to support decision-making with your main focus in marketing. Your core competence is transforming complex data into actionable insights thanks to your deep understanding of our data, as well as our company, customers, competitors and market trends.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Take ownership of analytical tasks from the beginning to the end (managing data sources, retrieving and transforming data with SQL and/or Looker, analyzing the data using the most appropriate techniques, and presenting actionable insights in a clear and concise way)
- Understand marketing stakeholders' business areas, embrace their challenges and partner with them in leveraging data to drive business performance
- Be proactive in identifying areas for improvement through data analysis and generation of insights mainly in marketing but also in other business areas (sales, product, finance etc.)
- Monitor and forecast key business metrics for different areas
- Create dashboards and reports using Looker, Looker Data Studio and Spreadsheets
- Lead the design and implementation of research projects, surveys, and other methods of gathering customer and market data
- Build measurement plans for marketing campaigns to understand their impact and extract insights to improve it
- Use sophisticated modeling techniques such as causal inference or optimization modeling to both analyze campaign effectiveness and suggest improvements.
- Be involved in other tasks of the BI department (keep updated the documentation, improve Looker semantic layer using LookML, collaborate in machine learning projects etc.)

**Key requirements**:

- At least 4 years as Marketing Data Analyst or other relevant roles.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and at least 1 year of relevant experience in using SQL for data analysis
- 2+ years of experience with BI tools such as Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, QlikView, Sisense, Chartio etc.
- Good working knowledge of Spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets etc.)
- Outstanding communication skills and ability to present complex information to non-technical and C level audiences
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills, paired with strategic thinking
- Strong knowledge of marketing operations and market research techniques
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organization and planning skills
- Be comfortable in dealing with people through video calls and Slack
- Able to work on own initiative and be self motivated.

**Skills/knowledge preferred for the position**:

- Working experience in online gaming
- Knowledge of Looker
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and digital marketing tools
- Knowledge of statistics
