**PRIMARY DUTIES**:
**I/C Accounting & Invoicing (75%)**
- Responsible for operational activities of Intercompany financial closing and reporting; ensure all requirements are completed and delivered in a timely manner;
- Perform I/C monthly accruals and proactively analyse and promote resolutions to intercompany imbalances to achieve HBF’s thresholds at month end;
- Analyze backlogs, identify root causes and identify possible solutions;
- Communicate with other group entities to confirm and agree intercompany balances;
- Prepare Intercompany Invoices, payments and netting;
- Prepare Charge Outs between NA and Corporate entities and other region, ensuring that all the supporting documentation is appropriated;
- Produce, analyse and distribute NA and Corporate intercompany aging reports and reduce the number of items above 90 days;
- Prepare monthly commentaries to Corporate Consolidation department on material intercompany differences on both P&L and Balance Sheet accounts;
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, looking to constantly improve the quality of the reconciliations.
- Define process rules and monitor Intercompany standards.
- Provide support on special Projects - Works on special projects as assigned and helps with system testing.

**MONTH - END & REPORTING ACTIVITY (20%)**
- Support the month end closing activities, in compliance with USGAAP within the timelines by Corporate team,
- Calculate and Analyze Monthly Accruals;
- Responsible for preparation and booking the journal entries requested by the RTR manager and guarantee that all the supporting documentation are in place;
- Any other tasks as required by the management team.

**COMPLIANCE & others (5%)**
- Ensure adherence to HBF Intercompany accounting policy;
- Maintain and develop SOX, as well as HB Fuller procedures compliance at all time;
- Provide support for internal and external audits, including preparation of PBC work papers.
- Assist with other team member’s monthly close responsibilities as necessary

**BUDGETARY/FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY**:

- By a good control over the accounts the I/C Accountant will minimize surprises and ensure that all issues are reflected promptly in accounting records.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:

- Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field;
- Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience preferably in multinational companies or _Share Service Center;_
- Solid Experience in GL accounting, Consolidation and Intercompany accounting;
- Excellent written and spoken English;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (preferably in advance Excel
- eg. Pivot Tables/Macros);
- ERP system experience (SAP or other similar);
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task;
- Motivated and enthusiastic team player;
- Independent and Proactive with desire for continuous improvement;
- Availability to travel;
