**About the role**:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a market-leading SaaS tool whose success has primarily been driven by product-led growth. As the Paid Social Media Manager, your mission is planning, executing, and managing paid social media advertising for TestRail.

This role will involve having a deep understanding of the brand’s quarterly goals, objectives, and key results and aligning the paid media campaign objectives to these OKRs. You will monitor campaign outcomes and quality, and consistently and proactively evaluate new opportunities to maximize performance. You will manage all aspects of our paid social strategy including planning, development, implementation & reporting. This is very much a hands-on role that is essential to our business growth strategy within our paid media channels.

You’ll report to the Head of Marketing for the TestRail Marketing Team and the Paid Media Performance Manager. Given the nature of the role, you’ll work closely with many individuals across our Marketing and Sales teams in order to improve our ads messaging and targeting. Final objective: show the right ad with the right messaging, to the right user at the right time on the right social media channel.

**What you'll do**:

- Research target audiences within social platform tools and other resources and identify common pain points for our champion personas (QA leaders) within our ideal customer profile (“ICP)
- Drive decisions around campaign architecture and setup for LinkedIn Ads, Twitter Ads, Facebook Ads, and/or any other social media channels we consider advertising in the future
- Map out opportunities to create more demand-gen content and build the funnel of ads that optimizes capturing existing market demand as well as ad programs that will help move people in our from “Problem aware” to “Most aware”
- Proactively identifies optimization opportunities, tracks and analyzes results
- Seek out new paid social product offerings, vets and implements as appropriate
- Pull platform data & prepare reports around key KPIs and business outcomes generated by our paid social media investments (including campaign and ad analysis)
- Develop and implement a test & learn approach to all Paid Social activities, including testing ad formats and messaging, all aligned with each of the previously mentioned stages. Must have a **“meet your customer at their level”** mindset when it comes to testing and creating new ads.
- Work within the marketing team in order to ensure short and long term targets are being met and learnings are shared in order to support and scale paid social marketing
- Supports in developing budget projections and monitor and update budget-tracking and other financial reporting documents to planned campaign budgets while maintaining performance goals
- Provide ongoing feedback and evaluation of campaign performance and activity to internal teams
- Collaborate with Social Media & Content team and other Paid Media Managers to establish and evolve paid social strategy
- Stay informed of all B2B SaaS trends in paid social in order to better optimize our campaigns and message delivery

**About you**:

- At least 3 years relevant experience within paid social media advertising, especially in a demand-generation focused environment
- B2B background is valued, specially in the software development/SaaS environment
- A strong knowledge of B2B SaaS best practices for LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Facebook Business & Ads Manager,Twitter Ads Manager, and other social media paid advertising platforms relevant to B2B SaaS
- Knowledge of tracking pixels, UTM parameters and basic tracking code implementation (Google Tag Manager knowledge is essential)
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to draw insights from large data sets
- Knowledge in web analytics platforms like Google Analytics and reporting tools such as Looker Studio
- Good knowledge of excel/google sheets; comfortable in analyzing data sets, formulas and pivot tables
- Hands on development of solutions for automating campaign management where applicable
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible & agile working attitude with good problem solving skills
- Ability to identify new opportunities, test, learn and maximize performance
- Experience with budget management for paid media campaigns
- Experience working with CRM systems (preferably HubSpot)
- You’re a team player and a responsible person
