THE ROLE

This role will provide you a deep understanding of the latest trends in e-commerce supply chain operations, B2C customer experience and international trade with an important focus on cross border operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Monitor Farfetch costs charged by carriers/logistics provider related to cross border activities, including duties & taxes, and related charges;
- Monitor actions transactions and procedures within the Group that could result in costs savings;
- Collaborate in definition of new guidelines for managing costs related matters with our carriers;
- Collaborate with other team members, and other business areas such as Tax, Legal, etc, in projects related to cross-border activities;
- Identify, challenge, simulate the impact and propose creative solutions to improve order contribution;
- Be the Subject Matter Expert on Duties & Taxes data;
- Work closely with our trading experts to analyse, forecast and manage D&T impacts coming from new legal requirements or trade agreements;
- Identify opportunities and risks from our D&T operations with impact to our accuracy;
- Continuously improve our Duties & Taxes processes and monitoring together with our Senior Trading Analyst, Tax & Legal teams as well as Delivery Operations;
- Guarantee the alignment between multiple internal teams and third-party providers to optimize our management of Duties & Taxes.

WHO YOU ARE
- Experienced in Customs and Global trade affairs (2+ years of experience desirable);
- You have a solid understanding of cross border processes, including transportation, documentation, and good knowledge of international trade regulations, customs requirements, and industry compliance standards.
- You have good financial acumen in order to monitor financial performance, analyse charges, negotiate with carriers and vendors, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Proficiency in Excel (Excel Google sheets is a plus) and SQL language or Big Query is a plus;
- Fluent English is mandatory;
- High learnability skills, flexibility and resilience to work in a fast paced environment;
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, managing multiple stakeholders (both internal and external) whilst retaining integrity, attention to detail, good judgement, and being pragmatic
- Proficiency in Reporting tools (Looker is a plus);
- Knowledge about B2B is a plus;
- Being passionate about ecommerce and technology is a plus.
