With our new building, iBET Biofarma, we are expanding our research infrastructure with 30 new labs, including one BSL3, which will accommodate up to 100 new researchers.

**Admission Requirements**:

- Academic degree: Bachelor in Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related areas;
- Previous experience in cell line development and/or with experience in viral vectors
production;
- Proven experience in aseptic techniques for cell culture and other good laboratory
practices;
- Proven experience in Molecular Biology techniques (such as qPCR or cell engineering
approaches);
- Strong motivation for applied research;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Proficiency in spoken and written English;

**Work Plan**:
The work plan will be focused on improving the production of rAAV vectors. To achieve this objective, the main tasks of this project will be:

- Optimization of HeLaS3 cell culture and production of rAAVs;
- Generate cell lines for viral vectors production;
- Generate engineered clones by CRISPR or related based technology.

**Fellowship Duration**:
The fellowship will have a duration of 5 months, eventually renewed until the end of project, without prejudice of the maximum limits foreseen by law. The expected starting date is 1st of October of 2023.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 16 values - 30%;
- Curriculum Assessment (CV) according to the admission requirements - 70%.
