**About your new role**:
**Your Responsibilities**:
**Strategy & Program development**

Develop, plan, implement and maintain an EHS management system for the organization that meets the TE Safety Assessment for Effectiveness (SAFE) requirements, implements TE environmental sustainability programs, ensures compliance with all relevant regulations, TE policies and TE specifications and provides for continuous improvement in EHS performance.
Ensure TE safety initiatives required by the TEOA Safety Tool are deployed for the organization, including behavior based safety (BBS), ergonomics programs, risk assessment, EHS training, machine guarding and employee engagement.
Assess, evaluate, qualify and prioritize EHS risks for the organization and develop action plans for ensuring all significant risks are controlled and managed as part of the operational controls defined within EHS management systems and TEOA process and procedures.
Partner with TEOA leaders in the organization to integrate EHS into TEOA process.
Ensure that program implementation is deployed in a methodical way, involving input from various stake holders, agreed upon time line for training and acquisition of the needed resources.

**EHS Structure & Program Management**

Build action plans for the implementation of the organization's EHS programs and take a leadership role in delivering the organization's EHS goals and strategy.
Create and deliver training programs to ensure those involved in maintaining the organization's EHS programs are aware of their responsibilities and how to discharge them. Provide training for all employees in support of achieve 100% engagement in EHS.
Establish and develop teams for driving EHS improvements and managing EHS programs, including site safety and environmental committees; energy teams; and behavioral safety teams.
Communicate with all levels in the organization on EHS to engage with influence and motivate the Plant Manager, managers, supervisors and employees. Drive EHS initiatives to achieve the organization's goals and strategy.
