Blades TCM (Transport, Construction & Maintenance) is part of Aerodynamic & Mechanical department in Vestas Power Solutions (VPS, the Vestas R&D). VPS is the business unit where new product ideas are developed, matured, improved, maintained and tested. VPS operates on a global scale with more than 3,600 employees. The TCM group within Blades Module is responsible for developing and maintaining solutions (processes, tools and support documents) for transport, installation and service of Vestas blades worldwide. We are involved in new turbine development as well as maintenance and optimization of solutions for the existing fleet.

**Responsibilities**
- Understand TCM business - requirements, design, verification, inspection, maintenance and operation of our solutions
- Coordinate daily activities of the TCM engineering team
- Support project planning
- Assign resources to tasks based on their competences and skills
- Have operational 1:1s with engineers
- Promote knowledge management and lessons learned continuously
- Propose and coordinate business processes improvements and product improvements

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Naval Architect, or similar
- Experience of 6-10 years in engineering processes - including new product development
- Experience with engineering coordination and concurrent engineering
- Experience with transport, installation or maintenance of heavy/complex loads is beneficial
- Experience with wind turbine blades is beneficial
- Experience in a multi-cultural environment with an international organization is an added value

- Highly independent and self-initiated to learn
- Organised and structured person
- Good communication skills both to internal team members and to external stakeholders
- Effective communication skills and fluency in English (speaking and writing)
- Experience with lifting tools and processes is a benefit
- Exposure to operational environment of transport or lifting of special loads
- Knowledge of 3D models and 2D drafting, e.g., using CREO/PDMLink
- Knowledge of Six Sigma or Design for Six Sigma is beneficial
- Knowledge of Lean Engineering is beneficial
