Global Head of Startup Scouting

**(We are helping our client, a fintech startup fund, n1.fund, to find an amazing and well-connected global Head of Scouting in the fintech industry)**

**The role**:

- Sourcing high-potential startups from all over the globe in accordance with N1 investment strategy.

**The KPIs**: number of relevant leads (number of leads provided to and accepted by Chief Analyst as relevant)

**Key functions**:
Organizes and manages global startup scouting process;
Establishes and manages relations with local startup providers from different regions (networks / accelerators / incubators / etc.);
Performs direct scouting;
Represents N1 Fund at conferences/events to identify, contact, and attract high-potential startups;
Reports to CIO and founder on agents’ performance and key scouting metrics (conversion, relevance, etc);
Engages with startups and performs preliminary screening;
Engages with startups and accompanies them until the Investment decision is made (first contact, intro to Chief Analyst, the current status of review etc.);
Manages startup CRM to keep all the data in one place;
Makes high-level startup assessment to ensure it corresponds to basic investment criteria (fintech / non-fintech, country of residence, valuation limits etc).

**You are**:

- Fluent English
- Be based in Europe
- Great startups, founders, funds, and ecosystem global network
- Excellent communication and commercial skills
- Understanding of the startup ecosystem and multi-country experience is a must
- Fintech, Crypto, Blockchain knowledge
