**MISSION**:
Responsible for building and maintaining solid relationships with current and future partners, ensuring that both BIAL’s and the partners’ expectations for the collaboration are met during the entire duration of an agreement. Analyse possible diversification and extension of the BIAL product portfolio and propose new business opportunities for approval and execution. The role reports to the Senior Manager, In-licensing.

**MAIN ATTRIBUTIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES**:

- Maintain regular contacts with current partners and potential new licensors, creating and/or maintaining with them a solid business relationship;
- Understand the collaboration environment and keep it healthy, by proactively addressing current matters and anticipating future ones, reinforcing the image of BIAL as a reliable, trustworthy, partner of choice;
- Proactively prospect new partners and projects using all available resources in order to extend BIAL's portfolio.
- Participate in negotiations of potential new license agreements;
- Ensure the correct implementation of new and existing agreements;
- Identify the key internal and external stakeholders for each task and/or process and ensure roles and responsibilities are clearly defined;
- Coordinate key tasks among internal departments to ensure partner's requests are addressed accurately and efficiently and BIAL´s needs are met;
- Assist regular business report preparation on key performance indicators to facilitate operation monitoring and reviewing.

**REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS**:

- Advanced science degree;
- MBA or other complementary training (preferred);
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, preferably in roles with international exposure;
- Experience in similar or related roles is valued;
- Experience dealing with clinical development, regulatory, supply matters and/or other matters within licensing agreements is valued;
- Experience in managing cross functional and multicultural teams and projects;
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills;
- Creative, strategic and analytical thinker with an ability to find and propose solutions;
- Ability to travel on a regular basis;
- Self-motivated, flexible and comfortable working in a small company environment with the ability to multitask across projects, influence others, work independently and across cross functional teams.
