Our plant Doureca located in Coura is currently hiring a **PLANT HR MANAGER**.

Reporting to the Plant Manager and functionally to the Group HR Director, the Plant HR Manager acts as a business partner and provides human resources leadership, advice and support to the management and employees. He or she serves as a resource to each, on all HR topics and deploys HR best practices across the plant. The main responsibilities include:

- Implement HR development processes to strengthen organizational performance: workforce planning, effective organizational design, employer branding, recruitment and selection, onboarding and engagement, training and development, performance management, talent management, leadership development,
- Oversee all aspects of Personnel administration & payroll.
- Evaluate HR effectiveness through KPIs such as employee turnover, cost per hire, training hours per person,...
- Define and maintain HR policies and local practices to ensure compliance with employment legislation.
- Ensure local compensation and benefits practices are aligned with Dourdin strategy and policies.
- Lead and/or direct negotiation strategies, grievance activities and related labor activities.
- Support the Plant Manager in key negotiations and fosters constructive working relationships with the local trade unions, employee forums, works councils,
- Promote and improve employee engagement, through change management, organizational communications, leadership development, and company social sustainability initiatives.

**Requirements**:

- You have at least 4 years’ experience working within international manufacturing industry.
- You are fluent in written and spoken English and Portuguese.
- You have a previous experience in an HR business-partnering role.
- You demonstrate a confident knowledge of employment legislation.
- You have excellent communication skills across all organisational levels.
- You show great analytical skills and ability to drive outcomes.
- You are culturally open and adaptable, enabling you to work in a flexible and changing environment.
- You are confident using Microsoft Office.
- You have ideally experience using HRIS or equivalent HR database.
