- BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic, results driven” individual to join as an Intern at our new production plant in Viana, Portugal.

Currently, BW PDS Viana is launching a new product into the market related with Electric cars. Due to the fact that both plant and product are new, it is expected a high rate of failures that will be unkwnown to the company. The purpose of the project will be to correctly identify the type of failure and act to find a possible rework under controlled manner. Also working with Product and Failure Engineer to investigate potential root cause and act on correcting it. Together with supporting team of Manufacturing Engineer.

Key Accountabilities:
- Setup a structure way to perform Rework of highly complex product with proper tracking and Risk Assessment.- Identification of key areas not to be reworked and investigation of root cause together with Product and Failure Engineer.

Education & Experience:
- Degree in Electronic, Electrical Engineering or similar- English skills- Good communicative ability- Ability to work in a team
