Solution Owner Support Functions

CONTEXT:
Sociedade Central de Cervejas e Bebidas and Novadis are entities part of the Portuguese Operating Company (SCC), owned by HEINEKEN.

The Solution Owner reports hierarchically to the Digital & Tecnology Manager, owning a particular technological solution scope focus on finance but as well opening to Learn about Procurement, HR, Legal and Corporate Affairs if the main objective on development of new global solutions and continuous improvement supporting critical Digital & Tecnology Solutions, which are delivered (partially or fully) through a vendor. The Solution Owners each own the full scope of a (set of) solution(s) from a technological perspective, understanding thoroughly the functional and business processes in scope.

PURPOUSE:

- The Solution Owner carries a profound understanding of a (set of) critical solution(s) from a functional, technical and process perspective and liaises with the business function (BPO and Product Owner), their functional support colleagues, and vendors or solution specialists to deliver projects in line with architectural principles, securing support according to agreed requirements.
- The purpose of the Solution Owner is to lead the development and improvement of a solution togheter with our partners using a structured delivery framework, ensuring the support via Dev-Ops or managed service contracts, in close alignment with the Product Owner and/or BPO in the business functions, and with functional support. This role’s mission is also to break silos between functions with an end to end ambition to integrate them seamlessly.
- The change pipeline of a particular solution is owned by the Solution Owner, following the discussion and approval of the demand priorities by the D&T Management team.
- The Solutions Owner will by default manage one or more vendors to change/adjust the solution and may also configure/change the solution him/herself.

KEY ACTIVITIES
- Solution owner should know how business processes are supported end-to end by Digital & Tecnology solutions focus on Finance but also you will have the opportunity to learn about the other Support Functions areas such as Procurement, HR, Legal and Corporate Affairs
- Actively contribute and participate in the operational activities to improve changes, taking into account business objectives and delivered insights.
- Align designs with HEINEKEN’s architectural principles, policies and guidelines.
- Supports the development and improvement of the fit for purpose Domain and Solution Architecture.
- Monitor, guard and analyze the functional and technical aspects of Solution (s) in scope in line with the agreed performance indicators and defined ways of working.
- Regarding security aspects, works closely with Cyber Security in monitoring and analyzing the Solution.
- Support the identification of business needs, translating them into input for functional design and new or revised functionalities to relevant stakeholders and verifies the impact and the execution of the changes for the business.
- Ensure and maintain system and user documentation.
- Maintain and build relationships with internal customers and relevant external parties.
- Proactively assess and propose innovative technological solutions for supporting the business processes of the multiple areas of the company, enabling process efficiency and optimization.
- Continuous self-reflection to improve way of working, delivered work or communications where possible and relevant.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Technology or other relevant (Computer Engineering, Information Systems Management or equivalent) required, Master’s preferable;

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- At least 4 years of relevant working experience, preferably in large and complex organizations and/or IT industry and/or multinational organizations;
- Relevant experience with specific knowledge in designated solution and (preferably) in the designated functional area (Finance, Procurement HR, Legal and Corporate Affairs);
- Affinity with the technological medium, trends and tools (within respective solution and functional area: Finance, Procurement HR, Legal and Corporate Affairs);
- SAP Academy in FI/CO (SAP version ECC and Knowledge in SAP S/4)
- Knowledge in SAP MM / SD and ABAP (understanding how to read a program code, debug)
- Reasonable knowledge in SAP BW, Desired SAP BW S/4 (understanding how to run queries, do filters and integration with SAP ERP)
- Reasonable knowledge on how interfaces and systems integration works.
- Be organized and able to prepare documentation about functional areas.
- Good language skills in English (minimum B2);
- Previous experience with working in projects, IT Solutions and/or Architectural principles;
- Experience in planning, building and running business solutions;
- The ability to empathise with business needs, to translate this into technology;
- Ability to work independently (autonomously), within a collaborative team environment;
