**About St Julian's School**:
We are a highly successful, non-selective 3-18 British international school with a reputation for academic excellence, founded in 1932. We currently have just over 1,200 students from over 50 different nationalities. The School has three sections: Primary, Secondary, and Portuguese. There are 640 students in the Secondary Section.

At St Julian's, we believe in holistic education and expect our teachers to make an active contribution to the pastoral and extra-curricular life of the school.

We have been accredited by CIS (Council of International Schools) and NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges) since 1998, an Accredited Member of COBIS and our Head are an International Member of HMC (Heads' Conference).

We value skills-based learning along with meeting the rigorous requirements of the National Curriculum for England, International GCSEs, and IB Diploma Programme. St Julian's provides a 1:1 iPad programme for students in KS3 and all students bring their own laptops in KS4 and 5. We use Google Apps for Education as a learning platform. All teaching staff works with Macbooks.

- To develop a necessary intervention in and out of the classroom where a child is not making expected progress
- To plan appropriate sequences of lessons to support student learning

- Use a variety of teaching strategies fundamental to school pedagogy in ways that stimulate learning and inspire students

**Essential**
- Ability to teach Physics and ESS to Key Stage 5.
- Ability to teach all three sciences to Key Stage 4.
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- A relevant degree level qualification.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Innovative approaches to teaching science.
- Commitment to professional learning.
- Proactive and positive team member.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.

**Desirable**
- Experience of teaching IBDP Physics.
- Experience of and desire to teach TOK.
