The Human Resources group designs, implements and manages our firm's policies and programs pertaining to global recruiting, training, career management, diversity, compensation, benefits, and employee relations. Members of this group work side by side with business managers to attract, manage and retain top-quality employees.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Partner with the centralized functions to ensure the accurate and on time execution of the country deliverables
- Work in collaboration with the regional Payroll team to perform the end-to-end monthly payroll process
- Recruitment/Onboarding - assist with document administration such as contract and addendum creation; Right To Work checks and Day 1 Employee Induction
- Monitor queries received from employees via the HR Answers tool and HR mailboxes, coordinating resolution of queries and escalations where needed, supporting resolution of a broad spectrum of queries from both HR partner teams and employees
- Manage documentation related to local activities, coordination of records management, ensure firm's requirements are applied in the creation, storage, retention, and destruction of JP Morgan records. Ensure correct filing protocol for both paper and electronic documentation
- Ensure local compliance with Global Data Privacy Requirements
- Support/ risk & control oversight
- Complete regulatory reporting obligations
- Assist with audit preparation, active involvement in External and Internal Audits
- Provide Portugal and regional legal and regulatory expertise and oversight in HR activities execution
- Ensure detailed Standard Operating Procedures are documented for all work streams
- Engage in HR projects and new book of work items, as required

**Qualifications/ Experience**
- 3+ years HR experience, preferably within international environment
- Good working knowledge of Portuguese labour laws, regulations, and market practice
- Ability to prioritise and deliver results within agreed targets in a deadline driven and matrixed environment
- Experience of planning and executing projects involving but not limited to the areas of recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, and legal changes
- Rigorous, with good interpersonal and communication skills, and autonomy
- Ability to develop strong partnerships with colleagues across the firm and external partners
- Fluent in English and Portuguese
- Excellent Microsoft Office Excel / PowerPoint skills
