Responsible for managing and overseeing the operations of the department, she/he will be in charge of all administrative functions, communications for the organization and developing and monitoring progress toward departmental goals.
**Responsibilities**:
** **Planning, promoting and ensuring the smooth running of an event schedule and individual events.
- Identify the most suitable products for the client in order to create the most effective and competitive offers.
- To make sure that all offers are sent out in the company standard format and are all entered correctly into the operational system.
- To ensure that the offer reflects what the client wants without compromising on quality of services and price of the offer.
**Operations**:
- To assume all responsibility for your clients’ pending and confirmed events**, **to book all services required in good time and make sure all details are correct prior to the group/event arrival/start.
- To build relationships with all suppliers and ensure that you have excellent knowledge of any services that are offered.
- Experience Required.
- **Language skills**: Essential - English & Portuguese
- **Experience**: a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a DMC inbound operator. Proven experience of preparing quotes and operating events.
- **Knowledge**: excellent knowledge of the the destination. Excellent knowledge of rates and current market prices.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of experience in project management or relevant fields
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a completed project
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with a team
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 28,000.00€ - 35,000.00€ per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
