**Job Description**:
As the Head of Resource Management, you manage the team of resource managers/planners responsible for the appropriate and timely staffing of Unit4 Services projects within our entire Region. You will drive the transformational change of resource management across the world to ensure global standardized practices are developed and utilized throughout. Additionally you will be responsible for the staffing of projects using internal resources and/or Unit4 Services partners developing and utilizing Resource Management (RM) best practices to achieve Unit4 business goals.

You align staffing of Unit4 billable personnel, supporting achievement of billable utilization targets. The Head of Resource Management also provides Unit4 Services leadership with timely status reporting and capacity recommendations. This means that one of your biggest aims will be to align the resource management with our Professional Services strategy.

You work with Unit4 Services teams to understand future resourcing needs and propose partner and internal enabling plans to meet Unit4 business needs. Here you'll also be the point of escalation for all issues that arise in the staffing space.

Other activities:

- Assign available employees to projects in accordance with their skillset, previous experience, and availability
- Monitor and manage employees workload, utilization, and overtime hours
- Improve resource management processes
- Overcome obstacles around shortage of resources by reallocating resources, assigning more staff, informing senior management of any issues related to inability to meet clients needs due to resourcing
- Capacity planning to bring resource management in line with our current PS strategy
- Getting familiar with the current and upcoming projects run in the organization and business development activities to be able to plan resourcing accordingly

**Qualifications**:

- Extensive demonstrable experience of resource management and professional services operations
- Strong experience at an IT professional services organization or working in a resource planning function within a professional consulting environment
- Building a Supply/Demand model
- Techniques like resource leveling, rolling forward planning are a plus
- Monitoring and reporting on resource utilization
- Understanding of Unit4 solution capabilities and skills preferred to implement effectively;
- Numerate, commercially astute, able to effectively manage budgets and forecast accurately;
- Understanding of both software sales and implementation cycles;
- Builds and shares experience based knowledge and resources directly with peers and across Unit4;
- Conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills
- Managerial and time-management skills
- Being familiar with labor laws as well as resource management trends
- Good knowledge of RM best practices using different Professional Service Automation (PSA) tools.
- Any PM certifications or resource management courses will be an advantage
