Senior Accountant

Verisure (known in Portugal as Securitas Direct) is seeking a talented, innovative, hands-on, and passionate **Senior** **Accountant **to join our **Shared Services Center Accounting Team**, with colleagues in Sweden, Geneva, Madrid, Paris and Lisbon. The role will report to the SSC Accounting Manager and will be** based in Lisbon**.

On the back of the extraordinary growth, we have enjoyed in the past years, **we aim to centralise parts of our Accounting team and further develop the Accounting function**. The Senior Accountant will be a key member of the team and play a critical role to achieve this objective.

Responsibilities will include, among others:

- Cost analysis
- Accruals and Reconciliations
- Fixed assets
- HFM, Navision and Oracle reports
- Point of Contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Review and assure proper classification of cost center and accounts on Journal Entries
- Weekly and Month-end closing procedures including Reconciliation report
- Assist manager and peers on the daily activities
- Performing ad hoc Accounts Payable and Procurement duties as required
- Collaboration with local finance specialists to accounting, tax, annual reports etc. to ensure adherence to local legislation

- Experienced professional with approx. 10yrs track-record within Accounting in an international environment
- Education degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting / Business with deep understanding of Accounting and financial concepts
- Strong interest for Accounting
- Good level of written and spoken English (mandatory as all work will be in English)
