**OUR COMPANY**:
Opened during the glorious Summer of 2020, **IRMÃO **is a beautiful **restaurant **and **beach club** hidden between the dunes of **Costa da Caparica**, in Portugal. IRMÃO is renowned for its **magical atmosphere** inside these mesmerising surroundings. From Sunrise to Sunset until Sunrise again, through food, drinks, and music, IRMÃO is full of light and sounds, full of colour and flavours.

IRMÃO is the fusion of three hearts and minds. 3 brothers and sisters reunited on the sunny Costa da Caparica to create a **Place of Happiness**. A Place where everybody fits and becomes part of its story.

IRMÃO is also a **multicultural team**, with +70 happy people from all over the world during the high season, working hard together in a caring atmosphere to achieve the same mission: to make more people happy, to feed the virtuous Circle of Happiness.

As a **General Manager**, you will maximize the success of the operation by ensuring the provision of outstanding standards of customer service throughout the restaurant. To do so, you will be a **Great Leader **for our team and a **Great Host** for our customers.

Your main missions will be to:

- **Organize and manage all the operational tasks from top to bottom**:global overview of the schedules and the stocks, ensure the smooth running of the Restaurant between each department (kitchen, bar, terrace, etc.)
- **Guarantee that procedures are followed precisely**: opening/closing, disciplinary/grievance, cash handling and accounting procedures
- **Ensure a safe environment **is maintained for customers, staff and suppliers: Risk Assessment, legislation, personal hygiene and food safety standards
- **Develop and empower the team**: recruit new team members, identify training requirements, recognize contribution of individuals to team objectives, carry out annual appraisals and regular performance reviews
- Ensure a **great communication** throughout the team in order to have everybody in the same line
- Pass on constructive feedbacks and suggestions to senior managers to **improve processes** within the team and also regarding the opportunities for improvement to overall customer service
- **“Lead by example”**: be ready to jump to every operational task if needed

**YOUR PROFILE**:

- You have **+5 years of experience in operational food & beverage industry**;
- You have natural **leadership skills** and you know how to federate a team;
- You are a **hard-worker** and you do things with passion;
- You are **resilient** and **adaptable**;
- You are versatile and can jump between different operational and back office tasks easily;
- You are **Naturally Happy** and enthusiastic;
- You are **fluent in Portuguese and English**;
- You have a driving license and you are motorized.
