**The team you'll be part of**

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

You will be part of AI and Architecture organization in a team dealing with Artificial Intelligence, Nokia Digital Assistant chatbot and latest data science and machine learning based technologies.

**What you will learn and contribute to**

Are you passionate about artificial intelligence and chatbot systems? As part of our team, you will have the responsibility for:

- Chatbot system architecture by analyzing the business value, data sources and APIs to interact with;
- Chatbot solution architecture by identifying new components as well as already existing components evolution;
- Chatbot new use business cases setup;
- Proposing and implementing new NLP, information retrieval techniques or search-based approaches (based for example on ELK technology or Azure Cognitive Search);
- Propose and investigate new machine learning based approaches to be used in the context of a conversational chatbot. You might be involved in research-based collaboration for this topic.

The solution owner leads key projects that positively contribute to business or operation impact such as streamlining processes and tools for efficiency in functional, region or local operation. You will manage the execution of a program against agreed program targets. You will interface with key stakeholders at business area leadership. You will ensure proper communication to relevant stakeholders for technical requests, emergency cases, outages and project delivery issues.

Your first mission will be related to Nokia Digital Assistant chatbot. The aim of Nokia Digital Assistant is to assist different engineer profiles dealing with Nokia products such as technical support, maintenance, deployment, upgrade or operation. The benefits of Nokia Digital Assistant are the process automation as well as innovative assistance based on AI solutions.

**Your skills and experience**

You have:

- Master’s Degree in Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering;
- 5-6 years of significant experience in the field of information retrieval, artificial intelligence or machine learning;
- Experience in working with APIs;
- Software development experience in any of the following languages: Python, Java, C++, C, C#;
- Python libraries for ML, Jupyter, SQL, ELK, collaborative tools (GitLab);
- Machine Learning understanding and practice: supervised and unsupervised learning, text mining and topics extraction, NLP;
- English mandatory (written and verbal), experience to work in multicultural environment, virtual teams across several locations.

It would be nice if you also had:

- Spark/Scala or R data science libraries, Java, Kubernetes, Docker, micro-services oriented architecture;
- Machine Learning nice to have skills: linear and logistic regressions, random forests, gradient boosting, K-Means, decision trees, neural networks (RNN, LSTM, CNN), ML applied to computer vision;
- Conversation automation technologies (exemple : Rasa, IBM Watson Assistant, Microsoft Luis etc.)
- Ability to identify problems to which data science can be applied and initiate solutions.
