**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**

The Assistant House Manager will manage the interior staff, this includes Butlers, Housekeepers, Pet Care and Childcare staff. The Assistant House Manager must have a general knowledge of the above positions to be able to provide the highest standard of service. The Assistant House Manager will ensure that all the staff have the required recourses to complete their work and are supported so they can focus on their designated position

**QUALIFICATIONS | CERTIFICATIONS | LICENSES**
- Certification from a recognised Butler School
- Diploma or higher education in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Management or Psychology
- Should have UAE Driving License/International Driving License preferred
- Level 3 - Food Hygiene & Safety (Supervisors)
- Level 2 - Allergy Awareness
- Level 2 - HACCP
- Safe Chemical Handling
- Fluent English speaking, reading, writing
- European Passport Holder - highly preferred for ease of travel with the Principal

**EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS**
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a butler at a senior level in a 5* establishment.
- Experienced in working with VVIP clients with a passion for providing personalised luxury service
- Extensive wardrobe management/care
- Certified First Aid Skill
- Extensive traveling management skills
- Security management

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure consistency of plans with best practices, objectives, and compliance with Labour Law.
- Contribute in identifying and recruiting key talent for the company.
- Responsible for managing the needs of a large team including well being, logistics, accommodations, uniforms, inductions and general support.
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of staff accommodations, their general upkeep and logistics.
- Directly manage a team of +/- 10 people, including an assistant staff manager.
- Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflow.
- Maintain very good communication with your team, department heads and management in order to run your department smoothly. Sharing information is key.
- This role is a managing role but also hands-on. You must always assist your team if needed.
- This requires someone with a high level of organization, strategic planning skills, management and leadership skills.
- Conflict management and crisis management skills highly regarded.

- Wardrobe management - inventory & organization.
- Assist with planning and organizing parties and events.
- Preparing travel plans, itinerary and luggage.
- Bookings locally and abroad as required.
- Calendar management.
- Organizing social events.
- Advanced problem solving.
- Long term position - 5+ years is required.

This is a travel position. Must be flexible and willing to travel for extended periods with the Family.

**SALARY/PACKAGE**
HIGH TAX FREE SALARY DOE AED 7,000 - 10,000
