**THE ROLE**
As the Claims Management Lead, you will play a vital role in advancing how Indie Campers deals and processes our fleet related claims across Europe, North America & Oceania. The role will ultimately be responsible for the companies' short, mid and long-term vehicle claims strategy.
You'll lead a growing team responsible for dealing with claims processes related to our global fleet of campervans, by building an operational playbook of how to best manage vehicle related claims across multiple countries and providers. You will develop robust reporting structures to track claims-related costs and audit claims for compliance purposes, providing available accurate information for internal stakeholders.
This position will be based in our HQ Office in Lisbon, Portugal.
**WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?**
- Create and modify cross-functional claims processes to guarantee accurate information is shared with internal stakeholders.
- Build and improve claims reports to accurately track all claims related costs and performance.
- Audit claims related information to be compliant and to drive product improvements.
- Develop business cases for new initiatives, projects & resources to be introduced/implemented.
- Document current and new procedures, create decision trees & knowledge base for all fleet claims related topics.
- Monitor and drive the execution of Fleet Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- Academic background in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or similar.
- 3-5 years of experience in Claims Management, preferably within an insurance provider or a fleet management/leasing company.
- Experience in negotiations with significant exposure in the insurance industry.
- Experience and history in engaging and building value-adding relationships with internal customers and external partners across geographies and industries, at all levels;
- Strong analytical skills with affinity towards conducting detailed investigation and ability to coordinate workload;
- Driven by outperforming yourself while being comfortable with change, being resourceful, and constantly curious to learn;
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
