**Job Description**:
Main Responsibilities- Process bi-weekly, and monthly payroll for employees in accordance with company policies and relevant federal, state, and local regulations.-
- Time keeping: validate accuracy and completeness of employee data in regard to work time, sick time, vacation time, overtime etc.-
- Data Entry: Enter payroll data into the payroll system (workday), including commissions, awards, terminations, severance pay, court orders (garnishments)-
- Reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and completeness, including reviewing timesheets, tax withholdings, and benefits deductions.-
- Address employee inquiries regarding payroll-related matters, including pay discrepancies, tax withholdings, and deductions.-
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations and compliance requirements.-
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies.-
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to stakeholders as needed.-
- Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, ensuring compliance with tax authorities.-
- Assist with year-end payroll processing and all associated tasks.Education and Experience Requirements- Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or HR-
- Understanding payroll requirements, and experience in payroll processing is preferred.-
- Understanding of end-to-end business process and controls and process improvement driven-
- Willing to work in a multicultural environment.-
- Strong proficiency with productivity tools such as Microsoft Excel, Workday knowledge is highly valued.-
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.-
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written,-
- Very good English skills-
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues.-
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.-
