THE LAKHANI GROUP is looking to strengthen its team by recruiting a Purchasing and Logistics Technician.

We are a hotel development and construction group based in Lisbon, specializing in the execution of hotel construction/rehabilitation projects with a high level of complexity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure continuous supply of all necessary inventory levels and manage inventory efficiently.
- Manage the purchasing budget in collaboration with the Procurement Manager.
- Request and receive quotes for supplies.
- Approve purchasing invoices.
- Execute and manage the total purchasing cycle from purchase orders to invoicing (except raw materials).
- Effectively communicate supply chain information for TLG stakeholders.
- Negotiate long term supplier agreements and where necessary, review and re-negotiate supply and purchasing agreements with suppliers (except raw materials) in collaboration with the Procurement Manager.
- Maintain and develop vendor relationships, communicate and enforce quality requirements.
- Participate in inventory processes.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree in procurement, logistics, supply chain management or a related field, an asset.
- 2- 4 years experience in a similar role in the construction industry
- Some previous knowledge of construction materials.
- Good communication skills in English and Portuguese required (speak, read and write).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong and effective negotiations skills.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to analyze complex situations and solve problems; demonstrated ability to make sound decisions.
- Ability to multi-tasking, adapt and take initiative.
- High tolerance for a fast pace working environment and ability to effectively manage stress.
- Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to maintain constant communication and collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., operations, customer service, etc.).
