Team Lead, Digital Transformation

This role requires a deep understanding of digital technologies, exceptional product and project management skills, and the ability to provide formal leadership to cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for developing and executing digital transformation strategies, managing projects, and ensuring successful outcomes that align with the organization's global objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Digital Strategy Execution: Lead the execution of the organization's digital strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and global objectives.
2. Leadership & Team Management: Oversee multiple digital transformation initiatives simultaneously, providing direction, guidance, and formal team leadership. Set clear goals and deliverables. Oversee the delivery of high-impact digital solutions that drive customer success. Ensure consistency and that all projects follow Sprint 0 best practices for clear problem definition and feasibility assessment.
3. Optimize Customer Journey: Support OutSystems' customer journey and drive the creation of digital products that elegantly, consistently, and engagingly support that journey.
4. Data-Driven Decision-Making: Leverage advanced data analytics and business intelligence to make informed decisions, identify opportunities for optimization, and enhance processes and web experiences.
5. Operational Execution & Prioritization: Drive operational execution, ensuring that digital initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable impact.
6. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, to gain buy-in and support for digital transformation initiatives.
7. Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of digital solutions.
8. Team Management: Build and lead cross-functional delivery teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
9. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with digital transformation initiatives.
10. Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure cost-effective delivery of digital initiatives.
11. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of digital deliverables by defining and monitoring project quality standards.
12. Vendor and Partner Management: Evaluate and select technology vendors, service providers, and strategic partners that align with the desired goals.
13. Innovation and Technology Evaluation: Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and trends, assess their relevance to the organization, and recommend adoption strategies.
14. Formal Leadership Skills: Provide formal leadership by setting a vision, defining clear goals, and inspiring teams to achieve them.

What We're Looking For

- Proven experience leading development teams in an agile environment.
- Strong understanding of digital transformation, customer experience, and SaaS platforms.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills—can anticipate issues and drive resolutions.
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, software development processes, and best practices.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Data-driven mindset—can track and analyze impact metrics to improve solutions.
- Passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing people.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Bonus Points:

- Experience in low-code platforms or enterprise software.
- Knowledge of AI-driven automation, customer analytics, or digital adoption strategies.
- Prior experience in a customer-facing or product-oriented role.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree or additional certifications in product management or digital transformation preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in leading digital transformation projects on a global scale.
- Strong analytical skills, and ability to gather, interpret, and analyze information to solve complex problems.
- Strong understanding of digital technologies, emerging trends, and their application in business contexts.
- Proven track record of successful leadership and execution, with formal leadership responsibilities.
- Excellent product management skills, including managing prioritization, solution design, and implementation.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in change management principles and methodologies.
- Experience in vendor and partner management.
- Relevant certifications in product management or digital transformation (e.g., PMP, Prince2, CDTMP) are a plus.
