The Role:

Location: Lisbon

Hybrid Model: 2–3 days per week onsite

Sector: Financial Services

️ Languages: English (mandatory), French (nice to have)

Eligibility: Priority will be given to candidates residing in Portugal with legal work authorization; other candidates who already hold a valid visa for Portugal will be considered at a later stage.

Your Profile

- Senior profile with Strong experience in functional testing within financial services / banking environments
- Solid understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across business and IT teams
- Experience with CRM / CLM systems
- A quality-first mindset (you spot issues before they become incidents — superhero cape optional)

Technical Environment (What you will be working with)

- Testing & QA: Functional testing, Acceptance Testing, Automation testing (plus)
- Tools: Jira, Confluence, Xray / Quality Center, ALM Octane, UFT (Unified Functional Testing)
- Automation & Performance: JMeter, Postman, Gherkin
- Systems: Cobol, Frontend, Backend, APIs, Batch processing
- Databases: SQL, MySQL
- Ways of working: Agile / Scrum, CI/CD pipelines

What You Will Be Doing (Concrete responsibilities)

- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios
- Design, write, and execute functional and acceptance test cases
- Perform testing across Cobol, frontend, backend, APIs, and batch processing systems
- Execute and maintain test cases using tools such as ALM Octane, Xray, UFT
- Contribute to automation testing initiatives and CI/CD integration
- Validate data accuracy and integrity using SQL/MySQL
