Overview

ClearCorrect, a Straumann brand, is building a new Orthodontics market segment in Portugal. The Clinical Advisor will oversee clinical activities for Aligners, translate customer clinical needs for future product development, and provide in‑house clinical guidance and internal training.

Responsibilities

- Work closely with key providers to establish treatment protocols and preferences in aligner therapy, including current ClearCorrect products and future new product launches.

- Train country‑based mentors to offer clinical advice to providers, focusing on proper use of the ClearCorrect system and benefits to customers.

- Act as the second‑level consultant to providers needing assistance on difficult cases to ensure excellent patient experience and optimal clinical outcome.

- Gather feedback from providers and generate reports to regional and BU teams to identify best practices and product improvement areas.

- Provide clinical training and education to key providers via online presentation, onsite workshop and other means necessary.

- Engage providers and support KOL relationship development.

- Take the lead in clinical advice and Treatment Planning Solutions (TPS) in the defined territory, supervising local clinical advisors and TPS partners, setting standards, organizing training and follow‑up.

- Be the go‑to person for ClearCorrect ambassadors and KOLs, helping the country find and develop local ambassadors, organizing local ambassador calls, training and meetings and supporting development of training and presentation material.

- Take the lead in the collection of clinical cases for the clinical case gallery.

- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to activate ClearCorrect users, acquire new customers and increase case start rate.

- Train the ortho sales and service team in the country with established protocols, enabling them to support providers with patient selection, treatment planning, orthodontic management and troubleshooting clinical roadblocks.

- Co‑travel to key customers and KOLs with field sales and marketing team.

- Constantly liaise with country, regional and global BU teams to keep abreast of product updates, technology advancement and market change.

- Participate in User Acceptant Tests (UAT) and provide input and feedback, taking the lead to have local ambassadors, follow‑up and collect feedback.

- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.

- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

Qualifications

- Dental Graduate (BDS – Bachelor of Dentistry) with Masters in Orthodontics (MDS).

- Experience with aligner therapy is required.

- 5+ years of work experience, of which at least 2 years in a clinical environment.

- Experience in training dentists and orthodontists is a plus.

- Highly proficient in English and Portuguese (mandatory); Spanish is a plus.

- Good knowledge of basic computer operations and Microsoft Office tools.
