We are in search of a Payroll Specialist to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring efficient and compliant payroll operations across our global team. What you'll be doing: Oversee and execute payroll processing for employees in Portugal and across international markets, including France, Italy, and others, in collaboration with external partners; Manage expenses through platforms such as Factorial and Coverflex, ensuring accurate and timely processing; Develop and implement payroll policies and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance across all regions; Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure fiscal compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations; Monitor and ensure accuracy in payroll calculations, deductions, and benefits; Act as the point of contact for payroll inquiries, providing excellent communication and support to employees and stakeholders; Support financial planning and reporting related to payroll operations. What you'll bring to the table: Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll processes; Fluency in English, both written and spoken; Experience working with platforms like Factorial and Coverflex for expense management; Knowledge of fiscal regulations and compliance requirements across different countries, particularly in Portugal, France, and Italy; Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail; Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. It would be great if you would also have:Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced work environment; Familiarity with payroll management in other European countries; Knowledge of automation tools for payroll processes.
