Platform Customization and Maintenance: Develop, customize, and maintain our extensive ServiceNow platform, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of a vast user base. Innovative Solution Development: Use your deep expertise in ServiceNow to develop innovative solutions that push the boundaries of enterprise service management. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product owners and other team members to understand detailed requirements and transform them into high-quality software solutions. Complex Problem-Solving: Employ exceptional debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills to navigate and resolve complex technical challenges within the ServiceNow ecosystem. Code Development and Review: Engage in coding efficient, object-oriented software, and conduct thorough code reviews to ensure maintainability and efficiency. This is a Rockstar Developer role, our take on the classic Software Developer. Standing as the brick-and-mortar of Critical TechWorks, it plays a crucial role in designing, developing, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining our product. Whatever you're working on, here's the lowdown on the technical skills you're likely to have: At least 1 year of experience using ServiceNow platform, namely ServiceNow modules and APIs, Custom Apps development and deployment practices. Exceptional debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills. Expertise in coding efficient, object-oriented, and modularised software. Experience in Java and object-oriented JavaScript and working with JavaScript libraries, such as Angular/React JS, Bootstrap, jQuery, and Prototype. Good knowledge of AJAX, JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, and associated frameworks. CTW's Daily Toolkit Apart from strong technical skills, our fast-paced, fully agile environment values autonomy, teamwork, interaction, and resilience. Therefore, our Platform Product Visionaries should:  Embrace agile practices, especially Scrum, leveraging its events to foster a high-performing team. Be cross-functional, developing new skills to enable a team that owns the entire product lifecycle. Apply standard engineering practices using tools like version control, IDEs, and dashboards for organized development. Adopt DevOps best practices, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for building, testing, and deploying reliable software. Operate software post-deployment, including outside working hours if needed (extra compensation applies). Travel abroad occasionally to support all phases of product development.
