Committed to sustainability (Ecovadis Gold), diversity (gender index: 92%), and quality of work life (Best Workplace Experience), Quanteam is a forward-thinking enterprise.Our ExpertiseWith a dual expertise in both business and IT, Quanteam supports its corporate clients (investment banks, asset management companies, private and retail banks, custodians, etc.) across the entire Front-to-Back spectrum in evolving their business activities and transformation projects.Our teams are organized into 5 expertise areas:➡ Quantitative Finance➡ Risk, Compliance, and Regulatory➡ Operations and Finance➡ Transformation and Organization➡ Information SystemsWe are looking for a Business Expert – Finance Data & Process TransformationMain tasks- Represent Finance needs within the Tribe/Squad, ensuring business priorities are properly understood and reflected in delivery plans.- Lead and support transformation initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, reducing operational costs and enhancing the satisfaction of both internal and external stakeholders.- Conduct data-driven analysis to support decision-making and ensure solutions comply with Finance and Risk frameworks.- Draft, refine and validate the business components of user stories, ensuring requirements are complete, clear and actionable for technical teams.- Prepare and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), aligned with defined acceptance criteria, reporting bugs, inconsistencies and improvement needs.- Build business cases to support prioritization, feature investment and OPUS-related decisions.- Support change management activities, ensuring proper communication, training and adoption of new processes or tools.- Act as the point of contact for partners and stakeholders during integration activities, ensuring alignment and smooth execution.- Produce key deliverables, such as user stories, UAT reports, KPIs, dashboards, change plans and integration documentation.- Perform ad-hoc tasks necessary to support the Tribe’s objectives, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to business needs.YOUR PROFILE & SKILLS1. Financial Knowledge- Strong understanding of financial processes, products and pricing models.- Knowledge of profitability analysis, budgeting and forecasting cycles.- Familiarity with financial reporting (management & regulatory) and compliance frameworks.- Awareness of regulatory obligations in the Portuguese financial sector (e.g., Banco de Portugal guidelines).2. Data-Driven Mindset- Ability to interpret and leverage financial KPIs, dashboards and business metrics.- Experience analyzing financial data to support prioritization, strategic decisions and continuous improvement.- Understanding of data governance, data quality and best practices in data management.3. Tools & Technical Skills- Advanced Excel proficiency.- Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, and working SQL skills.- Comfortable working with ERP/MIS systems (e.g., Dynamics Navision).- Ability to collaborate on data and analytics projects with technical teams.4. Agile Collaboration- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).- Ability to translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.- Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Data, Risk).5. Communication & Stakeholder Management- Excellent communication, able to articulate business needs clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.- Strong stakeholder coordination, including participation in meetings, requirements clarification and negotiation.6. Risk Awareness- Understanding of risk mapping, incident reporting and operational risk impacts on financial outcomes.- Ability to identify potential risks within processes and propose mitigation strategies.- Hybrid work model, with presence required in either Lisbon or Porto, depending on candidate location.
