Join us – we are looking for you As aLegal & Compliance Trainee, you will contribute to and cooperate with the global Legal & Compliance Team at the Daimler Truck Group, representing and working side by side with our colleagues here at A stable, high-quality service is the entire team's responsibility, and as part of it you will ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of our Compliance Management System (CMS) in accordance with Daimler Truck Group compliance requirements, as well as local laws and regulations. You will also help manage corporate policies, update internal regulations, raise awareness about compliance, data protection, and AI compliance, while also supporting onboarding and training sessions about the Corporate Compliance Program. You will also provide legal advice to employees and leadership (in coordination with external law firms when required), help draft, review, and approve legal documentation such as contracts, and support the company with governance, corporate affairs, and effective risk management processes. In this role, you will act as a role model for integrity and legal and compliance matters, and provide state-of-the-art advice and direction for all employees. WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM: Completed studies in Law or a similar background; Interest in learning about and working with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR); A communicative person that feels comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels; An analytical and detail-oriented working style; An eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment; Fluency in written and spoken English and Portuguese. NICE-TO-HAVE: Previous contact or experience with the compliance field (e.g. Internship, post-graduation, etc.); An interest in Data & AI topics; A passion for understanding people, conflicts, and the solutions needed to solve them.
