The Opportunity: Energy Analyst We are seeking a highly motivated Energy Analyst to join our Advisory team. In this role, you will be instrumental in analysing and advising on revenue structuring activities for renewable energy assets . This includes areas like Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), balancing services, ancillary services, and renewable certificates across Europe. You will be a key voice of our market view, communicating insights through compelling reports and powerful visualisations. Key Responsibilities: PPA Expertise: Develop new features with a focus on PPA pricing and assist in PPA sourcing and contracting for renewable energy asset holders across Europe. Market Analysis: Analyse market trends using advanced analytical tools to extract actionable insights. Data & Algorithms: Identify and integrate new databases to enhance result accuracy and pinpoint key factors impacting algorithm performance. Market Intelligence: Stay current with electricity market regulations to accurately explain market movements. Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with corporate and utility electricity off-takers. CRM Management: Effectively manage and maintain our CRM system (Hubspot). Negotiation Support: Assist in structuring and negotiating power purchase, Guarantees of Origin (GoOs), ancillary service, and route-to-market agreements. Content Creation: Develop engaging marketing content in various forms, including blog posts, presentations, and videos. Visual Communication: Design visually appealing graphs and diagrams that clearly highlight insights from analytical work. Required Skills & Experience: Industry Expertise: Proven experience in European power markets, particularly related to renewable energy. Python Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and modelling. Machine Learning: Basic to intermediate knowledge of machine learning techniques. Analytical Acumen: Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and a strong ability to interpret complex data.
