BlackFin's portfolio companies is a leading German capital management company (KVG) with more than €400 billion in assets under administration, serving institutional investors across Europe. BlackFin Capital Partners is a European private equity firm specializing in investments in high-growth financial services companies. The firm currently manages over €4 billion in assets and invests through its two most recent funds: BlackFin Financial Services Fund IV (€1.8 billion) and BlackFin Tech 2 (€390 million). ASPORTO is being established as a dedicated and strategic Service Center for the capital management company. It is designed to serve as a key operational hub, delivering high-quality fund accounting and management company services while setting new benchmarks in scalability, process efficiency, and service excellence. This role is with ASPORTO and offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the development and long-term success of the Porto platform. We are seeking Junior Specialists to join our Middle Office Services team in our Porto office. Your Responsibilities: Invoice Processing: Participate in the daily processing of various invoice types, gaining hands-on experience and working towards becoming an expert within the dedicated invoice processing team Reconciliation & Compliance: Assist in investigating and resolving reconciliation breaks, ensuring all activities adhere to internal controls and regulatory requirements Client Service & Process Improvement: Deliver excellent client service within our standard operating model, while actively supporting continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and create capacity Communication: Manage internal and external queries professionally, ensuring clear and timely communication with stakeholders Your Skills: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Hands-on approach with a strong sense of teamwork Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex matters independently Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned topics, and deliver solutions under time pressure Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel Fluency in English We offer: Flat hierarchies, fast decision-making processes, and an agile working environment The opportunity to shape, optimize and scale a core operational function within a strategic nearshoring platform in Porto Exposure to international stakeholders and strategic initiatives A corporate culture characterized by trust and respect in a collegial and highly motivating environment We are committed to equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
