Job Description

The Strategic Account Development Manager plays a crucial role in driving business growth by developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients. This position requires excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with key clients to drive business growth and increase revenue.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profits and ensure renewal of existing contracts.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Closely monitor and track key account metrics, including quarterly sales results and annual forecasts.
  • Collaborate with the field team to identify and grow opportunities within assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales/Business Development, preferably in the Fresh produce and Food sector.
  • Proven track record of generating and building relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Excellent knowledge of working with CRM systems, such as Salesforce.
  • Multicultural experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commercial ability, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
