About the role: As a Localization QA Game Tester, you will work with our Localization Quality Assurance team and be the first person to review the localized game. You will experience the project as it will be consumed by end-users, working in a multilingual project team to ensure the game is free from errors, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with a global project team, identifying and correcting language errors, ensuring adherence to console manufacturer guidelines, and logging details of errors and issues. You will also need to ensure accurate translation within context, maintain consistency in terminology and imagery, and identify missing or incorrect content. In addition, you will write reports on errors and bugs found, perform ad hoc translation, and oversee the quality of your work. Our Localization QA team performs language checks on unreleased games for various platforms, including PC, Xbox One, PS5, Wii, PS Vita, DS, Switch, VR, and mobile devices. As an LQA Game Tester, you will work on top gaming titles for leading publishers. To succeed in this role, you should have fluency in Ukrainian and English, no prior experience is required as training and support will be provided. Additionally, you must have strong cultural understanding of the language, computer literacy particularly with Excel, robust internet research skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely. You must also be able to collaborate within project teams and provide evidence of your right to work in Portugal. If you are located outside Portugal, a freelance contract will be applied. Please note that if you are interested in a full-time position, we require onsite work at our studio in Braga, Portugal, and you must have the right to work in Portugal.
Requirements and qualifications:
- Fluency in Ukrainian and English
- No prior experience required
- Strong cultural understanding of the language
- Computer literacy particularly with Excel
- Robust internet research skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Collaborative mindset

Work conditions: Remote Project-based Work flexibly between 8:00 to 17:00 Portugal Time, Mondays through Fridays. Work at least 4 hours a day (if there's a project).
