Global Business Development Manager for Renewable Energy Projects

About the Role
As a Global Business Development Manager for Renewable Energy Projects, you will be responsible for financially managing the execution of maintenance projects of thermosolar and industrial plants. You will also support the Sales team in achieving their targets. Your role will involve interacting with customers, project managers, other commercial project managers, external and internal suppliers, and business support functions.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Financial responsibility for projects and transactional business;
- Support the Project Manager in managing and optimizing targeted financial results with due professional care;
- Manage different commercial/finance-related matters, including handling Accounting, Legal, Tax, Foreign exchange currency, guarantees;
- Ensure accurate methodology for identifying, evaluating, assessing risks & opportunities and mitigation activities;
- Ensure the accuracy of cost and pricing calculation as well as overall project financials, incl. recording of such in appropriate systems, SAP;
- Prepare commercial documentation for regular status meetings and ensure the accuracy of financials;
- Ensure compliance with IFRS15, local GAAP requirements, reporting guidelines, and internal controls;
- Identify, minimize non-conformance costs, and establish an appropriate reporting structure; support the implementation of lessons learned into own project and the organization in general;
- Responsible for monthly revenue recognition and contractual invoicing;
- Commercial support during Sales Phase;
- Assisting Forecast and Budget related tasks;
- Account receivables & payables management.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to hold a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent based on experience. Proven experience as a commercial project manager is a plus. You should have well-founded knowledge in the area of project controlling and project reporting including corresponding standards and processes. Experienced user of Microsoft Office applications and SAP is required. Ability to work and connect in a remote team is essential. English and Spanish language knowledge on a business conversational level is a must.

- Experienced user of Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
Salary Range
We offer a highly competitive salary range of €80,000 - €110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This salary range includes a base salary, bonus potential, and additional benefits.
Location
This role is based in Portugal, Lisboa, Amadora, with the option to work remotely.
