Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Commodity Management Professional to join our Regional Management Procurement organization in Portugal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving improvement opportunities across Siemens Gamesa to actively lead the procurement strategy of all Indirect Material commodities.

Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze spend and contract data to identify commercial opportunities and develop plans to exploit them.
* Collaborate with cross-functional experts to develop procurement strategies that align with company goals.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure optimal pricing and terms.
* Manage relationships with direct suppliers and sub-tier suppliers globally, leading to pooling/bundling of demands in close collaboration with partners.
* Define commodity structure and supplier landscape; develop and implement material efficiency programs to achieve maximum contribution to targets.
* Identify and mitigate procurement risks, opportunities, and market forces to avoid potential damage or exploit potential opportunities through tailored risk/opportunity management.

Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience within Strategic Procurement (tender preparation and execution, negotiation, supplier relationship management).
* BA/BS in Business Management, Economics, Legal, or Procurement.
* Strong analytical, planning, and project management skills; results-driven personality; excellent and experienced negotiation skills in procurement.
* Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal business and external collaboration partners/suppliers at senior management level.
* Proficiency in Portuguese and English as a must; Spanish will be appreciated.
* Good team spirit and stakeholder management.
