Technical Account Manager

About the Role

The AWS Global Support team is seeking a Technical Account Manager to interact with leading companies and provide world-class support to customers. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be the principal technical advisor and 'voice of the customer' to organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 enterprises.

You will work proactively to help craft and execute strategies to drive our customers' adoption and use of AWS services, including Compute, Storage, Database, Big Data, Application-level Services, Networking, Serverless, Deployment, Security, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical acumen and customer-facing skills to effectively represent AWS within a customer's environment.
  • Work with appropriate engineers and service teams to troubleshoot customer support issues.
  • Help plan and build solutions using best practices and proactively keep customers' AWS environments operationally healthy and resilient.
  • Develop close relationships with customers to understand their business and technical challenges and help them achieve the greatest value from AWS.
  • Travel 10% or more as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for at least four of the following technical domains: Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, DevOps, Big Data, and Analytics, Security, and Applications Development in a distributed systems environment.
  • Working with engineering/technology teams for large customers or a major segment of a large entity in the Public Sector, Enterprise, or Start-up industry.
