Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our Global Business Services (GBS) team in Lisbon, Portugal. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll processes and driving continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support global payroll operations for both in-country and external providers
  • Document and update payroll procedures as required
  • Work with other teams to continuously improve and effectively follow work processes
  • Learn payroll procedures for countries where a backup is required
  • Ensure proper reporting as per legal and/or business needs
  • Identify and implement improvements to the process

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
  • Experience with payroll in Portugal or international
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong Excel and Windows skills
  • Understanding of payroll requirements, laws, and regulations for employees working in different locations
