Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Operations Director to join our team at Indie Campers.

About the Role

This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our global business. As an Accounting Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Finance Director and be accountable for accounting, tax, and reporting across 20+ entities of the Indie Campers Group.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely presentation and accuracy of consolidated accounts, managing the network of external consultants/accountants, and implementing best practices and procedures across different countries.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. A certified accountant/TOC (plus) qualification is also required. Fluency in English is mandatory.

You should be autonomous, attentive to detail, tech-driven, and have good teamwork and problem-solving skills. The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt to ever-changing situations is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Establish appropriate accounting routines and controls in new markets;
  • Responsible for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities;
  • Manage all tax deliverables for all entities, coordinating submissions with authorities;
  • Present consolidated accounts accurately and on time;
  • Oversee the management of external consultants/accountants through Europe, US, and Oceania;
  • Research, interpret, and establish accounting policies and regulations;
  • Implement best practices and procedures across various countries;
  • Involved in accounting or controlling projects that contribute to company optimization and digitalization;
  • Develop effective methods for managing the accounting team;
  • Coordinate actions with auditors and manage year-end audit procedures;
  • Manage tax inspections, transfer pricing policies, and tax optimization.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is $100,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Our company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
