Join Elementis Plc as a Performance Analyst and contribute to the success of our Performance Specialties business. As a key member of our team, you will partner with the Performance Manager to drive business performance, achieve growth ambitions, and develop a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive the production of monthly management information (MI) in an accurate and timely manner.
- Clearly communicate monthly and annual financial results, actively participate/lead the financial analysis for key projects/programs.
- Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes for the PS business.
- Administer and review all financial plans and budgets, monitor progress, and changes, and keep the PS business leadership team abreast of financial results and issues.
- Lead on product cost analysis, with particular focus on the Talc segment, including raw material cost, freight, and duty costs, manufacturing variable and fixed costs.
- Identify and drive process improvements for MI reporting, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and MI dashboards.
- Partner with the commercial team in tracking actual orders/sales and new business opportunities, provide regular analysis for management to review and make decisions, thus driving business growth for PS.
- Provide proactive reports, analysis, and recommendations on business performance (including products, customers, regional mix, etc.) to the business/function leaders to maximize sales, contribution margin, and operating profits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
