Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely completion of monthly closures for designated companies.
Leverage CAM guidelines and accounting standards to execute financial operations for both local statutory and group reporting purposes.
Analyze technical accounting issues, providing insightful advice and solutions.
Take ownership of financial statements for a part or whole legal entity.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding accounting and tax support.
Analyze complex issues, proposing effective remediation strategies.
Collaborate with peers in the Service Units to address accounting challenges.
Lead or participate in projects aimed at process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in IFRS and ERP systems (preferably SAP), and extensive knowledge of local compliance activities, tax, and technical accounting principles.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax and/or accounting operations is required, along with a university degree in accounting or finance, ideally accompanied by international accounting certification.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$120,000, depending on location and qualifications.
This role requires fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
