Job Summary

This pivotal role will be at the forefront of the energy transition, monitoring legislative and regulatory developments and engaging with regulators to shape the future of the energy sector. As a specialist in regulation and studies, you will collaborate with various organizational units to define the company's stance on high-impact regulatory issues, ensuring proactive implementation of necessary changes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory trends, with a focus on Distribution System Operators (DSOs) at both the EU and Portugal levels.
  • Evaluate the impact of legislative and regulatory changes on our business and operations, ensuring preparedness and proactivity.
  • Craft and communicate our stance and proposals on legislative and regulatory reviews through close collaboration with various organizational units.
  • Oversee the implementation of legislative and regulatory changes within our processes and systems, leading implementation projects in close articulation with different organizational units.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to internal teams on regulatory and legislative matters.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, or Economics (MBA is a plus).
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the energy sector or regulatory affairs.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, project management and leadership abilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
