Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as a Supplier Quality Engineer at our new production plant in Viana, Portugal. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for organizing, planning, prioritizing, operating, and monitoring the daily activities of the Incoming Inspection Technician area and allocated facilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct and oversee incoming inspection activities, collecting, analyzing, and interpreting results in accordance with company procedures.
- Perform clerical duties, maintaining records and files and compiling data and reports as required.
- Maintain supplier quality supplies and materials inventory.
- SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF SYSTEMS DESIGNED TO SUPPORT INCOMING INSPECTION ACTIVITIES.
- RESPONSIBLE FOR THE INCOMING INSPECTION AUDITS PER EXISTING CONTROL PLAN AND DEDICATED AREA FOR THIS ACTIVITY.
- CREATION AND CONTROL OF CPM (COMPLAINTS ON PURCHASED MATERIAL) FOR SUPPLIERS IN THE PLANT.
- TRACKING THE 8DS OF SUPPLIERS TO IMPROVE QUALITY ISSUES.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. You should also have experience working in a supply chain or quality assurance environment and be familiar with ISO standards.
